From fades to color or your Best Day Ever hair - every client leaves my salon feeling and looking their absolute, head-turning best. I launched my talents in the cosmetology industry as an apprentice to California native, Brittin Tate,who taught her statement Art of Balayage Highlighting technique. Mastering Balayage allowed me to truly focus on creating myself and my brand. Being a military wife, I have gotten the opportunity to master the original “Army Crew Cut” and perfect the “Fade” with men's cuts. Continuously striving for the next best trend, I added the art of bridal hair & special occasions to my resume. From a simple French Twist to a masterpiece that is bound to be framed, I began working on bridal hair, which is an art all on its own. Each individual bride has their own unique canvas.

I’m Jonathan, find me on IG @jonathan_hairdesign. Hair has been long time passion of mine, I have been behind the chair since the early 2000’s. I love to embrace my clients’ individual beauty. I create natural ready to wear hair. My services include creating dimensional color, customizing a haircut, toxic free smoothing, and sew-in weft extensions. I look forward to collaborating with you to create your own special look.
When I’m not at work you can find me hunting for treasures at thrift stores, pruning vegetables in the garden, or entertaining in drag at local clubs.

I'm a certified Master Colorist and Natural Hair Specialist who specializes in beautiful hair color accompanied by healthy growing hair.
I have traveled across the U.S. gaining knowledge and experience working as a professional hair stylist not just in the salon, but on film sets and backstage at shows such as Hamilton, The Lion King, Wicked and other Broadway productions. I have acquired hundreds of hours of continuous education from top companies such as Schwarzkopf, Redken , Brazilian Blowout and more.
As a multicultural hairstylist I can offer nearly anyone with any texture of hair a pampering, nourishing and professional experience where they feel heard and cared for.

Fran is an Aveda trained master stylist and color educator who specializes in dimensional color and blonding. Fran has worked at top Aveda salons in both Indianapolis and NewYork City. She is passionate about her clients and takes pride in customizing looks for each client's specific needs.
"I take pride in the customization of my color formulas and haircuts for each of my clients. I love giving my clients low maintenance color that grows out beautifully. I strive to make every client feel pampered and cared for during their service with me! I want them to feel good and look good, leaving the salon with a little extra bounce in their step and Fran is also the owner of Line+Form Art Center located downtown Indianapolis, where she facilitates process-based art
classes for children and adults. Fran resides in downtown Indy.

Bessie has worked in the beauty industry for over 14 years. She began her career by working for various department store cosmetics companies and with an interest skincare, obtained her esthetics license in 2012. She started working alongside Allison Rutledge at Indie Hair Design, doing Bridal makeup in 2019 and has looked forward to wedding season ever since. Bessie loves creating custom looks and strives to make each individual look and feel like the best version of themselves on their special day.

Henlo new frens! I'm Griff and have been with my hooman Allison for 5 heckin years! I spend the day assisting in evryday stuff and it can get ruff sumtimes so I takes lots of naps in between. I loves treats and looking out the window to see all the other doggos and hoomans on Mass Ave!
